Promoting Sustained Use of Dual AI Mosquito Nets to Strengthen Malaria Prevention in Benin

As part of an AIRID-led study in the Dassa Commune of Benin, community engagement activities are being conducted to promote the continuous and correct use of Dual Active Ingredient (Dual AI) mosquito nets following mass distribution campaigns. Through household visits, community discussions, and collaboration with local leaders, the initiative seeks to strengthen malaria prevention efforts, improve understanding of net maintenance, and support the long-term effectiveness of vector control interventions.

While dual active ingredient (Dual AI) mosquito nets have demonstrated substantial impact against malaria, their effectiveness ultimately depends on their continuous and correct use by households.

As part of an AIRID-led study evaluating the durability of Dual AI nets in the Dassa Commune of Benin, our teams are conducting community engagement activities to promote sustained net use following mass distribution campaigns.
